We are committed to protecting your personal data and do not sell or otherwise pass on any of your information to third parties. This absolutely includes your email address. Our contact form uses SSL encryption and we only save information as long as it is relevant for our communication. Your IP address is not included in your contact form data. We do not include any third-party buttons, media or other content, such as Facebook buttons or YouTube videos, on our website.

User tracking with Matomo

Our website uses Matomo (formerly known as Piwik), an open source webanalytics software. This helps us understand how people relate to our content so we can improve it. We Host Matomo on our own servers, so nobody else can access our tracking data. You can read more about Matomo’s GDPR compliance on their website.

Of course you can choose to opt out of this user tracking: just uncheck the checkbox below. This will set a so-called cookie – a tiny text file – on your computer which saves your preference. When our Matomo finds this cookie set on your computer, you will not be tracked. If you do not opt-out, Matomo will set a cookie that lets it recognise you as a former visitor.

Webserver log files

Log files are only saved on our server in case of technical difficulties and are deleted after 30 days. They contain the following bits of information from each site visitor:

• operating system
• internet provider
• used browser and its version
• IP address
• date and time of website access
• referring website (if applicable)
• clicked links to other websites

At no point is any of this information connected to other personal data, such as names or email addresses.
